About Thomas Murry, MS

Thomas Murry, Jr., or “TJ,” is proud to provide mental health care to clients in Cordova, Tennessee, and the surrounding area as part of the team at WellMind Behavioral Health & Wellness. 

TJ graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Pursuing additional education, he went on to receive his master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Memphis. 

TJ feels honored to build connections with his clients and work with them toward becoming their truest selves. His belief is that you are the driving force behind each session; it is your time, your pace, and your direction. He views humor as a powerful tool in building a therapeutic relationship and, when appropriate, uses directness to facilitate growth and change.

At WellMind Behavioral Health & Wellness, TJ provides care for the adolescent and adult population. He has experience treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and grief.
