Lekisha Pride, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Lekisha is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) holding a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She is an alumna of The University of Tennessee Health Center.

Her nursing journey began in 2012 at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing. Initially working in the medical intensive care unit at Methodist University, Lekisha recognized a pressing need for mental health services within the local community's diverse population. Motivated to contribute to the solution, she pursued further education, culminating in her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialization in mental health in 2023.

Lekisha's healthcare background not only equips her with the skills to effectively manage clients with mental health concerns but also enables her to adeptly navigate healthcare systems and advocate for her clients. She champions the integration of evidence-based practices with patient-centered care principles.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Lekisha finds joy in spending time with her husband and four children, as well as fulfilling her commitment to serve her country in the Army National Guard.
